One thing I'm not liking about the bridges along Guadalupe and Chihuahua is that traffic lights are still in operation along Cedar Ave., forcing drivers to stop before getting on the bridge (Guadalupe) or getting off the bridge (Chihuahua). With construction still ongoing, I can see how the lights control the flow of traffic. But if they're left in operation after all the work is completed, it'll be a dumber setup than the situation in front of JSJ Estates.
The overpasses will help commuters avoid the trains heading to and from downtown. But the lights have to be synchronized in a way so as to make the trip more efficient.
