Earthy Day Stuff

It looks like one of Councilman Perez's neighborhoods (Heights) is going above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to recycling.  And because of that, they (Heights) are getting newfangled collection bins to throw their paper, cardboard and plastics in. 

As you can see in the picture provided by the city, Mr. Perez poses with a registered voter eco-conscious citizen (from the Heights) to kick off the campaign of providing more bins for the public (Heights).  I applaud them (Heights) for their efforts and commitment.    

But fear not, for the bins might be available to you too (and not only the Heights).  You can reach city staff to take part in the pilot program.  Just check out the information below.



This blogger (in the Chacon) wants a blue bin.  I promise I'll take care of it.
