"Obey" Was So Last Century

So I was prepping for the Royal Wedding watching in the wee hours by taking an evening nap. I woke up to see that the NFL Draft was in progress, and lucky me, the Dallas Cowboys were on the clock! The Cowboys had the 9th pick, and they selected lineman Tyron Smith out of USC. Good luck to him in Big D! (There are numerous former Trojans on my faves-list: Troy Polamalu, Reggie Bush, Clay Matthews, Rey Maualuga, and Brian Cushing, but I digress.)

Anywhoozle, the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is set to begin at 4a.m. CT, Friday, April 29. The cable channel TLC has had round-the-clock coverage today of all things royal-related leading up to the wedding, with a pre-show at 3a.m. The networks and cable news channels begin their live coverage at 3a.m. as well. Don't ask why, just go with it!

It has been reported that the royal couple will have fairly traditional vows, except for the fact that Kate will be leaving out the word obey from her vows. Oooh, take that Queen! I can't wait to see the gown that has been kept a secret successfully so far. What I really want to see is what David Beckham is wearing to this shindig, and will Kanye actually show up?

Best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs.! Cheers!
