Pro8news reported on the continuing problem of trains blocking streets near the downtown area. It was only until the mayor was irked enough (he had to wait like everybody else) that something was done. Apparently he went out to look for the conductor and ultimately made a call to train officials. That produced results. Or at least, that's how our self-righteous leader wants it to look like.
Luckily for us who live in the Chacon/Heights area, an overpass is coming. It'll help us avoid that same train that blocks downtown. But what are those who have to get down San Bernardo to do? That's a question to ask the mayor as he approaches the end of his rule. It would've been a great thing to tackle - the train blocking traffic - during his eight years. Unfortunately it looks like he's paid little attention to it.
