The Home Stretch

Most people have gone out to cast their votes for local candidates but that doesn't mean that those vying for political office are done facing off in public debates.  The LMT reports that Mike Garza (I) and Rolando Garcia squared off and voiced their concerns with the proposed fifth bridge near District 1.

Garza:
It is "important for the future of Laredo," but right now, should not be avidly pursued, he said.

Garcia:
Traffic issues are already a problem in the region and a new bridge now would only increase those woes, Garica said.

Four days left.
