No Town Hall Planned But Plenty Of Photo Ops

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Henry Cuellar, TX-28, will announce funds totaling $2.7 million for Serving Children and Adolescents in Need Inc. awarded by the Health and Human Services Department. S.C.A.N.’s Corazones Street Outreach Program will receive $300,000, the Uno a Uno Mentoring Children of Prisoners Program will receive $600,000 the Listo Para Responder HIV and Substance Abuse Prevention Program, will receive $1.5 million, and the Emergency Youth Shelter will receive $378,000. S.C.A.N. programs provide diverse prevention, intervention, and treatment services for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
