Word is going around that the mayor recently asked for election guides to be removed from city hall. Gene Belmares and his family appeared on the cover of the publications. The mayor's fastidious behavior aside, the election guides should not have been placed at that location.
City hall acted as a polling station for early voting. As such, no campaign materials should've been present within a certain distance.
If the mayor did indeed say that El Manana didn't have the same legal rights because it's a Mexican company, then he's a bigger boob than I thought. Nobody came out looking good on this one.
