Charlie Brown turns 60!

Charlie Brown, the main character in the Peanuts comic strip, has been defined as "a lovable loser, a child possessed of endless determination and hope, but who is ultimately dominated by his insecurities and a 'permanent case of bad luck', and is often taken advantage of by his peers."

Awww, some of us love you Charlie Brown. The first time Charlie Brown entered the stratosphere was on October 2, 1950, when Peanuts appeared in 8 newspapers!

Sadly many kids today are not really familiar with the Peanuts gang, but they were a very important part of my childhood. They remain near and dear to my heart to this day. Happy Anniversary Charlie Brown!
