Looking for relief


Residents, officials work to get life back to normal

Several relief efforts are under way to help hundreds of local flood victims, the majority of whom still have no electricity in their homes and need essential supplies, from food and water to insect repellent and hand sanitizers.

Is anybody in charge?

Los Martinez resident Pedro Rodriguez, who was sitting outside his house with family and relatives, described an overwhelming feeling of frustration in the neighborhood, saying supplies are not being distributed evenly.
