Chacon Creek Flooding And Access

The top two pictures of the Meadow Bridge (near Mami Chulas) were submitted by Dimitri Garcia.  They were taken Thursday, at the height of all the flooding activity.

Because Meadow Ave. and the 3 Points Interchange were closed, I had to access the Loop from the South to get to my house in the Chacon.  It took me 45 minutes to get home, when I usually get there in 20.

The flooding of the Chacon Creek is pretty impressive.  I wonder how the bike trail is going to look like.
Friday morning, my son and I biked to the Riverdrive Mall area but couldn't access the mall itself.  Sheriff's deputies were making sure nobody got close to see the river crest.
