The Hollywood Three

They say that deaths come in threes, when it comes to Hollywood celebrities anyway. There are 3 in a row yet again. The latest 3 to pass away within a week of each other are Gary Coleman, Dennis Hopper, and today, Rue McClanahan finishing up the trio.

Gary Coleman, 42, of Diff'rent Strokes fame died last Friday when he suffered a brain hemorrhage after falling two days earlier. He was taken off life support (and now all that is being investigated).

Dennis Hopper, 74, died last Saturday after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was famous for acting/directing Easy Rider, but I remember him from Hoosiers and Speed!

Rue McClanahan, 76, of Golden Girls fame died today after suffering a stroke. What's weird is I had just seen an episode of Celebrity Ghost Stories in which Rue was one of the celebrities discussing a brush with the afterlife. On that episode she said that she did not fear death. (Now Betty White is the only Golden Girl left.) :'(

To paraphrase Christian Shephard: "We all have to die sometime."
