Newly appointed U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Alan Bersin will host a public forum at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, to discuss CBP’s new vision for improving the secure flow of legal goods and people through the ports of entry.

New rule:  If any politician, official, or higher up is going to host something before 5:00 p.m., it can't be called a public forum or town hall meeting.  Anything before quitting time is a photo op.

I must admit, these things are poorly attended by the public, but calling them what they're not is weasely.

Bordertown Blues has an official flier up.  And he poses an important question:  how do they feel about the Juan Crow Law in Arizona?  Hopefully the local media will ask it.
