An alleged handicap parking space invader is behind bars after he offered a police officer some money to let him park there.

In a recurring segment we like to call 'Menso, Not Mensa,' we take a look at the case of a man who offered a cop $30 to avoid being ticketed after being caught parking in a handicapped space.  He obviously thought that all local officers are crooked, what with the charges brought against several cops recently.  He was mistaken.

The policeman was offended by the paltry $30 offering put forth his honorable character and sent the community a message:  we're here to uphold the law and not succumb to instant gratification.  Good on him.

You have to be one lazy bum to park in a handicapped space at Narvaez Meat Market.  It's not like the establishment is settled on a sprawling campus.  And to top it off, the guy left the car running while he was inside the store.  This has always puzzled me.  Why do people do that?
At any rate, now this person has to worry about bond money, the actual ticket, and who knows what other financial charges.  So let this be a lesson to you - if you park in a handicapped space, someone is going to tell on you.
