Are the people cheering because the eyesore is finally down, or are they just happy the implosion worked properly? I don't get the hooting and hollering for the destruction of a place they supposedly loved.
The City of Irving issued a warning letter to any residents that lived withing a one-mile radius of the stadium, but a parking map was also provided for those that wanted to see the implosion live and up close (for a parking fee that would go to charity).
So welcome, BUT come at your own risk and don't breathe in the dust! Go Cowboys!
