Who ordered the a**hole?

The Webb County Republican Women met last night to talk about conservative issues. Louis Bruni saw it as an opportunity to get his message out.
After saying his challenger was worse than former Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro was, Bruni was interrupted by the meeting's organizers, who said the meeting was not meant for campaign speeches.
Awkward. So how does Mr. Congeniality respond?
"Whoever doesn't like what Im saying, they can get the hell out of here," he said.
Always the gentleman.

  1. Read the comments section in the LMT for a rude awakening.

They tend to generally support Bruni because "that is the type of politician" Laredoans need, the type that won't be shut up. Or, the ever popular one that Bruni "always speaks his mind." One commenter wrote that "hell" was not that bad of a word anyhow.

But my favorite is that it was the Republican Chair's fault.

  2. I hadn't noticed the comment section below each story. Thanks for the tip.

I'm sure he got a bit rowdy, but I don't think it was the time or place to have that kind of exchange.

    He comes across as hostile.

  3. Anyone ever shook hands with Bruni?
It feels like you're wriggling a dead fish.
Can't trust anyone without a decent handshake, sorry.
