Texas 4000

Continuing with the Texas theme.. Turns out not all Texas students are getting wasted. Meet the Texas 4000. This is group of UT volunteer students selected every year to ride their bikes 4,000 miles from Austin, Texas to Sutton, Alaska. That's 69 days of riding. They are currently on day 54 somewhere in Canada.

Why do they do this? To promote awareness and raise money for cancer research. They've raised over $1 Million big ones over the last 5 years. To find out more about this group, track their journey or make a donation, visit www. texas4000.org.
